Inspired by th National Parks Signs these 3D maps capture your adventure in a whole new way. Choose any trail or area you’d like. Each map is 100% custom made to order.

Map thickness depends on the terrain.

Clicking “add to cart” opens a form to fill in your map details. I will confirm everything and provide a digital proof to fine tune your map before starting the build process.

TIPS FOR ORDERING YOUR MAP

I take a minimalistic approach to designing a map whenever possible. Trying to fit to many focal points ends up looking cluttered. I’ve developed a pretty good eye for what looks good so if you have any questions just ask.

If you shrunk the Earth down to the size of a pool ball it would be smoother that any pool ball we could create. This means that the further you zoom out the flatter the terrain looks. I don’t recommend doing full states or really large areas. But don’t worry, I’ll help make the most out of any design and offer my recommendations if needed.

THE PROCESS

Start by deciding what trail you’d like (I can make maps of hiking and biking trails, race routes, ski resorts, surf spots, lake, rivers, or just general areas like your property). I design each map from scratch just for you. For Race Routes or custom recorded GPS I’ll need a  .GPX or .KML file. Don’t don’t worry, I can help you find this if needed. Most websites or apps like Strava will let you download your trail data. Please send your file to Trevor@topotrailmaps.com after you’ve placed your order. In the unlikely event that I can’t make your map you will receive 100% refund.

Placing your order will get you locked into the build schedule. When your map is ready to be made (see lead-time estimate at the top)  I’ll send you a digital proof to look over for any spelling or trail errors. After you check off on the design it’s go time!

Check out the Projects Page if you are looking for larger custom sizes or wall maps of entire trail networks…

“I just received the Topo Trail Map and, WOW, this thing is beautiful! It's only been up on my wall at work for 5 minutes and I've already received a ton of compliments on it. It truly is a piece of art. “
